Hi,

we are Kathi and Maro, a ceramicist duo from Berlin/Tbilisi.

In 2024 we founded Studio of Things - a small ceramic studio based in Berlin. Exploring our mutual love for ceramics, clay became the common medium of our shared interests: design, interior, food and dining.

Between working our dayjobs and spending as much time as possible in our studio, we love to go for looong walks in Neukölln with our (slightly hyperactive) dog Selma or stroll through the neighbourhoods fleamarkets. 

Our ceramic pieces are handmade and produced in small quantities. They are either created from slabs, pinched or thrown on the wheel. To make our ceramics one of their kind, we carefully handcarve each piece in a slow process (still our favorite part). The organic lines and shapes give them a unique character, while the focus remains on the item's functionality and timelessness.

Our collection includes interior pieces and tableware - serving dishes, bowls, cups, vases, planters, candle holders and more.
